DAD’S BOOK OF ANSWERS

Stewart, Tabori and Chang – June 1, 2006

As the old saying goes, “Life doesn’t come with an instruction manual.” Well, neither did fatherhood—until now. With this beautifully designed collection of advice culled from the hard-won wisdom of other fathers, baffled dads everywhere can now receive immediate answers to questions that have eluded them for years.

Dad’s Book of Answers, the latest installment in the tremendously successful Book of Answers series, follows the practice of bibliomancy, foretelling the future through books. For questions ranging from “Is it time to have that ‘birds and bees’ talk with my daughter?” to “Am I spending enough quality time with my kids?” or even “Can I open a beer bottle with a screwdriver?” this book has the answer for Dad. He simply meditates on or speaks the question aloud while riffling through the pages, and stops when the time feels right. He then opens the book to where his hand came to a pause, and the wisdom he seeks will literally be at his fingertips. This book is individual parenting collectively made easier.

MOM’S BOOK OF ANSWERS

Stewart, Tabori and Chang – April 1, 2004

Everyone has a mom. Some people are moms. And we can all use, from time to time, even more advice from Mom. For seekers of wisdom, here is Mom’s Book of Answers, offering oracular counsel of the maternal kind. Carol Bolt’s Book of Answersseries follows the practice of bibliomancy, or foretelling the future through books. The natural successor to The Soul’s Book of Answers and Love’s Book of Answers, this beautifully packaged volume draws advice from that ancient wellspring of hard-won wisdom: other moms.

Whether you’re seeking guidance about a specific or general parenting issue, or just need that particular point of view for yourself, the solution—from moms through the ages—is channeled through this prophetic guide.

So when you find yourself wondering at 3:00 a.m., “Will I ever get a good night’s sleep again?” hold the book closed, then meditate on or speak your question aloud while riffling through its pages. When you feel the time is right, stop and open the book to the page where your fingers came to rest. There is your answer.

THE SOUL’S BOOK OF ANSWERS

Stewart, Tabori and Chang – October 1, 2003

In need of spiritual guidance? Try bibliomancy, the ancient art of foretelling the future using books. Hold The Soul’s Book of Answers closed, and for a few seconds concentrate on your question or say it aloud. Stroke the edge of the pages with your finger. When you feel the time is right, open the book to the page where your finger stopped. There is your answer.

Bolt has modernized and perfected the design and content of this format. And where her previous title, Love’s Book of Answers, offered direction for those with romance on their minds, The Soul’s Book of Answers contains wisdom from writings drawn from many spiritual traditions. This new Book of Answersaddresses open-ended questions such as “How should I face this situation?” or “What do I need to do about…?” Whether the question is about a moral conflict, a future event, or simply, “What should I meditate on today?” this book of divination will help anyone’s spiritual quest
